Overkill

I wouldn't change the way, I wouldn't stop the decay

Legendary thrash metal is legendary. Arguably one of the originators of the genre, Overkill are possibly the finest example of American thrash metal. You may have heard rave about them on the Stormcast. (Or not, as of this moment that one hasn't been released).

The Years Of Decay was recorded in 1989 and is considered one of their best releases. Some very tight guitar and drum work combine with some unique vocals to make for an excellent, neckbreaking thrash metal album.

Download it. It's one of the tastiest slices of thrash I've ever listened to.
