Album: Made in Japan (1999)
Genre: Speed Metal

The Sex Machineguns are a Japanese Speed Metal band. Their music is characterized by a heavy focus on bass as well as extremely fast guitar and bass solos. The band rides an image of being "Shock Rockers" by wearing crazy, exotic outfits like Visual Kei bands (although this image has been toned down recently), singing about blowing up restaurants (as shown in the song "FamiResuBombaa") and naming one of their live DVDs "SM Show" in a very intentional allusion to BDSM. Casting themselves as shock rockers is not the prime selling point of their music though, as they also exhibit their technical skill on their instruments.

Heavenly

Strange, this sensation in my mind
Creature I will become one
On my way, there's no sun
But I have to carry on.

Artist: Heavenly
Albums: Dust to Dust (2004), Virus (2006)
Genre: Power Metal
Official Site: http://www.heavenly.fr/

Heavenly are a French Power Metal band that played a sort of Helloween-esque metal in their early years but have since found their own niche. They've had many line-up changes over the years, including having Fredreric Leclerq (bassist for Dragonforce) as their keyboardist and guitarist, but they've finally settled and discovered their own sound. These two albums are their latest. Virus is somewhat different than their previous double-bass filled releases, utilizing more technical drumming than just pounding away with a double-bass pedal, as well as giving vocalist Benjamin Soto a larger range to sing in.

Dust to Dust was uploaded by Reverend Richter, and Virus was uploaded by Keeper of the Seven Keys for your Heavenly double-penetration of awesomeness.

Diablo Swing Orchestra

Red eyes only, the floor comes closer
A kiss that bruises a skin so frail
Iron taste tongue, rage polluted the veins so furious
With a mouth that will never tell.

Artist: Diablo Swing Orchestra
Album: The Butcher's Ballroom (2006)
Genre: Avant-Garde Metal
Official Site: http://www.diabloswing.com/

Diablo Swing Orchestra formed in 2003 are from Sweden and, though not really an orchestra, incorporate female vocals, as well as a cello, into their music. They play a very strange kind of metal that can only be referred to as avant-garde. DSO is supposedly formed from the descendants of a troupe that played music in defiance to the ruling church during the 16th century in Sweden. The troupe played underground until they were discovered and decided to play one grand final show before being martyred to the church. DSO's eclectic playing style is quite unique, and if you're a fan of the strange, then DSO is for you. This is DSO's only full release so far, The Butcher's Ballroom.

This album was requested by The Stormbeard Guild's own Keeper of the Seven Keys.
